The U12B girls were 2-0 winners at home to Knocknacarra B in their cup quarter final clash last Sunday morning. Alanna Farrell scored a screamer from twenty five yards out while Jessica Shannon netted the second goal. Others to feature prominently for Craughwell were Sara Craven and Keelan McNamara. The U14A boys lost 3-1 away to Corrib Celtic with Liam Mulveen scoring the United goal from the penalty spot. Elsewhere the U18 boys were defeated 3-0 away to Maree/Oranmore B.

Craughwell players Jamie Collins (pictured) and Conor Gilligan both featured on the Galway U12 Interleague team that defeated Longford 2-0 last Monday afternoon in Mervue. Jamie also had the honour of captaining the Galway team which is a great achievement. Well done to both lads.
