Club results up to weekend of 22-23 September   15/10/2018

The U14 boys had a fine 4-1 away win over Corrib Rangers in round one of the Connacht Cup last Saturday. United never got going in first half and went in one nil down at the break but the second half saw a total transformation with goals from Daire Crowe (2) and one a piece from Aaron Crowe and Finn McCartney completing the comeback. Special mention to United man of the match Tadhg Mahony who was solid throughout. The Junior men’s side lost 3-1 away to East United with Alan Callanan scoring from the penalty spot after Darragh Minogue was taken down in the box. The U12A boys lost 3-1 away to Galway Hibs in Connach Cup action while the U12C boys were unlucky to lose 2-1 away to Merlin Woods/Medtronic in their opening league match of the season.

On Sunday, the U16 boys drew five all with West Coast United at Coleman Park. Alex Craven bagged a hatrick  and Thomas Barlow chipped in with the other two goals. The U12A girls made in three wins from three with a fine 2-0 win away to Kinvara United. Keelin McNamara & Alannah Farrell were on target for Craughwell.
