The U12B girls (pictured) moved up to joint leadership of League Division One after defeating Knocknacarra B 5-1 last Sunday morning at Coleman Park. Lauren Morgan scored a hatrick with Katelyn Walsh getting the other two. Featuring highly on the day was Katie Murray along with excellent displays from Kelly Hallinan, Lillian Walsh, Amy Coyne, Roisin Doherty, Sophie O Callaghan and Sophie Keenan. Also on Sunday, the U12A  girls lost 4-0 away to a strong Corrib Rangers side in their League Cup quarter final clash.

The Craughwell United junior men’s bowed out of the Connacht Cup after a 5-2 defeat to Roscommon Premier League leaders Boyle Celtic FC in a very entertaining cup match at Coleman Park. Craughwell took the lead on the half hour mark when striker Alan Callanan set up Eoin Fahy to bundle home but Celtic hit back five minutes later with an unstoppable direct free kick. The away side went in front early in the second half after another fine strike but Craughwell responded with the goal of the game on sixty five minutes. Callanan again assisted with a long diagonal ball to Fahy and the striker spotted the Celtic keeper off his line and lobbed him from thirty yards out for a spectacular finish. Craughwell pushed on looking for the lead goal and when the Celtic defence stopped four strikes in quick succession from a short corner, it turned out to be the games turning point. The away side showed their quality with a fine third goal on seventy five minutes and when United moved forward in numbers looking for an equaliser, they conceded two more goals in the dying minutes. Fine performances from both United strikers, from Kyle Heverin in goals and from centre back Oisin O Brien who was outstanding throughout.

On Saturday the U12B boys lost 4-0 away to Athenry D.
