The men's junior side lost 2-0 to West Coast United in Letterfrack last Sunday morning. Craughwell applied the early pressure with captain Daniel Grealish going close from a free kick and Darragh O Connor hitting the crossbar but it was the home side who went in front midway through the first half. West Coast extended their lead just after the break with a free header from a corner. United applied pressure for the remainder of the game but were unable to breakdown the solid home defence. The U18 boys lost 5-4 on penalties to Colga in their League Cup clash at Coleman Park. Odhran Keane and Liam Mulveen were on target for United in normal time and with no further goals after extra time, it was decided on penalties with the visitors just prevailing.
The U12B boys (pictured) were 4-0 League Cup winners at home against Cregmore/Claregalway FC C with two goals from Darragh O Donnell and one each from Zach Keane and Cathal Desbonnet. The U12A boys and U12 girls both suffered away defeats to Tuam Celtic and Cregmore/Claregalway FC A respectively.

Craughwell United are now running a Last Man Standing Competition with the first round of fixtures beginning on Saturday 5 March. Tickets will be distributed from this week through all our club managers and committee members. Entry is also available online through our Clubforce platform. Monies raised from LMS are directly funding our ongoing Galway United coaching programme which benefits all our club teams.
