The Junior Men’s side were 2-1 winners over Claregalway last Saturday with the important goals coming from Cathal Greaney and Jack Raftery. The U14 boys were unlucky to concede two late goals which cost them a point in their 4-2 defeat away to Mervue United. Craughwell went in front through Ryan Gallagher after fifteen minutes but Mervue equalised shortly afterwards. Finbarr McFadden put Craughwell in front again before the break but the home side scored three second half goals to seal the win. Also on Saturday, the U12B boys lost by the only goal away to Bearna Na Forbacha B.

On Sunday, the U14 girls were 2-1 winners over Kiltullagh at Coleman Park. Veronica Creaven and Sarah McCartin (pictured) scored the United goals while goalkeeper Roisin Phillips had a stormer between the posts to secure the three points The U12A boys lost 4-2 at home to Renmore and the U18 boys also tasted defeat away to Oughterard on a 7-2 scoreline.
